ASTROCOACH LLC (TIN: 02863351, registration number 286.110.12306778) (the "Administrator", "company", "we", "us", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the information and personal data you share with us. This privacy policy ("Policy") explains how the Astro Coach mobile app ("App") may collect, store, use and disclose information when you access or use (1) our website located at astro-c.com ("Website"); (2) our mobile applications ("Apps"); and (3) any services, content and features that we make available through the Website or Apps (collectively, the Website and Apps referred to as "Services").


YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Policy is applicable to all visitors, registered users, and all other users of our Services. By accessing or using the Services, you consent to us collecting, storing, using, transferring and disclosing your information (including Personal Data) as described in this Policy for the purposes of provision of Our Services to you. The provisions contained in this Policy supersede all previous notices and statements regarding our privacy practices with respect to the Services. If you do not agree to all provisions of this Policy, you may not access or use the Services.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Policy or the way we use, share or collect Personal Data, we will notify you by revising the “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy, prominently posting an announcement of the changes on our Services, or by sending you a written communication using the contact information you provided us prior to the new policy taking effect. Users are bound by any changes to the Policy if they use our Services after notice of such changes has been communicated. We encourage you to review this Policy regularly to ensure that you are familiar company’s current practices.

Further, you acknowledge that this Policy is part of our Terms of Service at astro-c.com and is incorporated therein by reference. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by the Terms of Service. If you do not agree to our Terms of Service, do not access or use our Service.


INFORMATION AND PERSONAL DATA WE GET FROM YOU
When you use our Services, we may collect information that you provide to us. Some of this information may identify you (“Personal Data”), and some of this information may not identify you (“Anonymous Information”). Sometimes, Anonymous Information may directly or indirectly be associated or combined with Personal Data. In these cases, such Anonymous Information will be considered Personal Data for purposes of this Policy. In addition, to the extent that Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses or similar identifiers or information are considered personally identifiable information by applicable law, we will treat those items as Personal Data under this Policy.


INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US
In general, you may visit the Website without telling us who you are or sharing any Personal Data with us. When you register for an account for the Services (an “Account”), use other aspects of the Services, or communicate with us for customer service or technical support for the Services, we may ask you to provide certain Personal Data, as set forth below. You may decline to do so, in which case some features of the Services may not be available, may be limited in performance, or may not work at all. You may also voluntarily provide Personal Data to us. The information that we collect and use may include the following kinds of Personal Data:


  • Login or account name
  • Email address
  • Facebook username
  • Mobile phone number
  • Birth date, time, and place
  • Gender
  • Photographs containing data identifying Your physical, physiological and biologic specifics (if You at your expression of will upload such photographs to App)
The Administrator uses third parties to process payments – we do not collect or store credit card information.

If you provide your phone number, we send a few kinds of transactional text messages directly relating to your use of your Services, like confirming your account and resetting your password. By providing your mobile phone number, you expressly consent to receive this type of transactional text message from us at that number. Third-party data and message fees may apply.


INFORMATION COLLECTED FROM DEVICES
When you access the Services using a computer or mobile device, including, without limitation, a desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, or another consumer electronic device (each, a “Device”), we may collect information from your device, including information related to your behavior and activity while using the Services, such as:

  • Date, time, and activity of each visitor request
  • Referring site and/or search engine

WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA

1. To provide our Service
This includes enabling you to use the Service in a seamless manner and preventing or addressing Service errors or technical issues. We use Firebase Performance Monitoring and Firebase Crash Reporting, which are monitoring services provided by Google. 2. To customize your experience
We process your personal data, such as your date of birth, to adjust the content of the Service and make offers tailored to your personal preferences. As a result of such processing, we will offer content tailored to your natal chart.

3. To provide you with customer support
We process your personal data to respond to your requests for technical support, Service information, or to any other communication you initiate.

4. To communicate with you regarding your use of our Service
We communicate with you, for example, by push notifications. These may include reminders or other information about the App. As a result, you may, for example, receive a push notification every day at a particular time reminding you to check your daily affirmations. To opt out of receiving push notifications, you need to change the settings on your device.

The services that we use for these purposes may collect data concerning the date and time when the message was viewed by our App’s users, as well as when they interacted with it, such as by clicking on links in the message.

To communicate with you we also use Firebase Cloud Messaging and Firebase Notifications, which are message sending services provided by Google. Firebase Cloud Messaging allows us to send messages and notifications to users of our App across platforms. We integrate Firebase Notifications with Firebase Analytics to create analytics-based audiences and track opening and conversion events. As a result, we can, for example, send reminders only to users who used the App more frequently. Google's privacy policy.

5. To research and analyze your use of the Service
We also use Firebase Analytics, which is an analytics service provided by Google. In order to understand Google's use of data, consult Google's Partner Policy, Firebase Privacy Information and Google’s Privacy Policy. This helps us to better understand our business, analyze our operations, maintain, improve, innovate, update, design, and develop the App and our new products. We also use such data for statistical analysis purposes, to test and improve our offers. This enables us to better understand what features and sections of the Apps our users like more, what categories of users use our Apps. As a consequence, we often decide how to improve the App based on the results obtained from this processing. For example, if we discover that users frequently use the “Compatibility” section, we may focus on improving and providing more information and features to this section.
To track and analyze the behavior of our App’s users (in particular, how they react to changes of the App structure, text, or any other component), we use Firebase Remote Config. Firebase Remote Config is an A/B testing and configuration service provided by Google, which also enables us to tailor the content that our App’s users see (for example, it allows us to show different onboarding screens to different users). Amplitude is an analytics service provided by Amplitude Inc. We use this tool to understand how customers use our Service. Amplitude collects various technical information, in particular, time zone, type of device (phone or tablet), unique identifiers (such as IDFA). Amplitude also allows us to track various interactions that occur in our App. As a result, Amplitude helps us to decide what features/languages we should focus on. WE DO NOT SELL PERSONAL DATA
We have never sold your Personal Data, and we will not sell your Personal Data to third parties for their use without your consent.


AGE LIMITATION
We do not knowingly process personal data from persons under 16 years of age. If you learn that anyone younger than 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support.


LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
When you use our Services, you may be directed to other websites and applications that are beyond our control. We may also allow third-party websites or applications to link to the Services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third parties or the content of linked websites and applications, but we do encourage you to read the applicable privacy policies and terms and conditions of such parties, websites, and applications. This Policy only applies to the Services.


INFORMATION YOU SHARE SOCIALLY
Keep in mind that the users who view any content you share (e.g. your profile or your DMs) can always save that content or copy it outside the app. So, the same common sense that applies to the internet at large applies to Astro Coach as well: Don’t share or make public any content that you wouldn’t want someone else to save or share.





HOW WE SECURE, STORE, AND RETAIN INFORMATION


Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of your Personal Data. We use security measures to help protect your Personal Data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized disclosure, but we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us over the internet. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, but there is no guarantee that information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or lost. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your Personal Data. You also play a role in protecting your Personal Data. Please safeguard your username and password for your account and do not share them with others. If we receive from you instructions to use your Account login information, such as when contacting our customer service, we will consider that you have authorized those instructions. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your Account or any other breach of security related to the Services. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse to provide the Services, terminate your Account, and remove or edit content.


Storage
The Personal Data that you provide to us is generally stored on servers that are located in Canada and the Netherlands. Servers’ location countries might change from time to time. If you are located in another jurisdiction, you should be aware that once your Personal Data is submitted through our Services, it will be transferred to our servers in the Russian Federation and therefore governed by local data protection laws, which can vary state by state.


Retention
We will retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. If you wish to cancel your account, contact us at support@astro-c.com.


YOU CAN CORRECT OR REMOVE YOUR INFORMATION
If any of the information that we have about you is incorrect, or you wish to have information (including Personal Data) removed from our records, please contact us at support@astro-c.com. We will respond to such inquiries within ten (10) business days.

We use email to respond to support inquiries and to share information about our products, services, and promotional offers that we think may interest you. If you prefer not to receive these messages from us, please let us know by clicking on the unsubscribe link within any message that you receive.


INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We may transfer personal data to countries other than the country in which the data was originally collected in order to provide the Service set forth in the Terms of Service at astro-c.com and for purposes indicated in this Policy. If these countries do not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you initially provided the information, we deploy special safeguards.
